# Poring Village

*Initiation instance for new adventurers*

## Overview

The **Poring Village** is an official instance of Ragnarok Online revisited for LunaticRO.

Intended for new players, it serves as an introduction to instance mechanics while telling a humorous little story around an alleged treasure hidden by the Porings.

You will be accompanied throughout the adventure by **Emily**, an explorer convinced that the Porings hide an immense fortune.

## Walkthrough

The instance is divided into **3 main areas**, each protected by a barricade.

To progress, you will have to eliminate the monsters in each sector and defeat their leaders.

## Area 1: The Village Gates

Emily quickly discovers that the Porings are not as harmless as they seem.

## Blue Light Columns

During the exploration, you will come across several columns of blue light.

By touching them:

* Your appearance is temporarily transformed.
* You get a temporary special effect.

## Area 2: The Inner Village

Emily continues her exploration despite warnings from locals.

A new wave of monsters appears.

***

## Area 3: The Poring Kingdom

The adventurers finally arrive at the center of the village.

It is here that the true ruler of the place manifests himself.

### Meeting with King Poring

Contrary to Emily's expectations, the leader of the Porings is surprisingly polite.

King Poring explains that there is no hidden treasure and that everything is based on a misunderstanding.

Emily, however, refuses to give up her research...

### Final Boss: King Poring

Seeing no other solution, King Poring decides to defend his people.

#### Special feature

During the fight:

* 10 special Porings appear to help their king.
* These Porings are aggressive and move quickly.
* They attack all the adventurers present.

## Final Reward

After King Poring's defeat, Emily finally admits her mistake.

Before leaving, she gives you a gift:
