# Instance Difficulty

The **Instance Difficulty** system allows you to take on a greater challenge in exchange for greater rewards.

Before entering certain instances, you can choose a higher difficulty level. The monsters then become more powerful, but the rewards and experience obtained also increase.

Choose the difficulty that matches your equipment, your group and your desire to take on new challenges.

#### How does it work?

**Normal Mode**

* Standard difficulty.
* No bonus or penalty.

**Hard Mode**

* Monster HP: **+25%**
* ATK / MATK of monsters: **+25%**
* Monsters take **25% less damage**
* EXP gained: **+25%**
* Instance Reward: **3 Instance Points**

**Nightmare Mode**

* Monster HP: **+50%**
* ATK / MATK of monsters: **+50%**
* Monsters take **50% less damage**
* EXP gained: **+50%**
* Instance Reward: **5 Instance Points**

💡 **Instance Points are awarded to all members present in the instance upon completion.**
